Ick. Dumb reviews like that piss me off initially, but I think it's a good sign when an album can be totally polarizing like that. BOTT is a bit controversial because they really explored new sounds and took risks. The more I listen to YAYM the more I realize this band has evolved so much. And I LOVE that. They are great songwriters and their instincts are always on, their music always honest. They continue to amaze me. Some folks simply can't handle change. KOL ain't for them then.

This is an example of why I hate reviews and many music journalists. If your going to review an artist, don't bring your own personal opinions into it. This arse clearly doesn't like KOL- fair enough - but don't chat crap about them sounding like Bloc Party! I don't really care for Bloc Party, but either way, they are a million lightyears away from the Kings. In talent and style of music. I don't read reviews, they're rubbish, everyone has a different opinion.
