... but is that such a good thing, course it probably will be as i can't see kol ever releasing anything other than amazing, but if you look at kols slower and softer songs, they are equally as good, the like of talihina sky, where nobody knows, arizona, rememno, and wicker chair, so i hope they have a least a few softer songs.

well, i read an article where says that caleb has a shoulder surgery so he's taking pills and he says that he doesn't know what it is (maybe the pills) that now he's getting more inspiration and he's writting better songs¡¡¡ so i hope he takes enough pills to write more powerful songs¡¡¡
and yeah¡¡¡ i love all of their songs¡¡¡¡

I love their 'slow jamz', so I know what you mean ukkolfan. Even if this next album is a lot of hard rocking, it'll still be awesome and their live shows always boast a well-balanced setlist so we'll still be happy campers. I was a bit worried too, but Caleb recently said the next album will have the most beautiful melodies he's ever written...so I figure there will be at least a few mellow songs that you can just get swept up in. AAAAAhh, I can't wait!

I really do hope there are some softer songs, they're usually my favourites.

Hello there,
I do agree, we got another heaping pile of festering "Caleb Politi-rock ensnared in Spiral Staircase guitar licks" coming to us in the next album. It's pretty due from the boys to be political, but to meld it with their 'southern rock roots' would make it very very unique. They slightly touched alcoholism with "Wickerchair", Religious rape with "Holy Roller Novocaine" and overnight success excess with "The Bucket", time has come to "metaphorical Bush bitchslap"! Cheerios!

^JamiroFan, I don't mean to sound stalker-ish but I noticed that you're an old member on the board! We "newbies" love to see kids from the early KOL days!
I've also noticed that all your posts are positive, reinforcing and music-related. You've managed to skirt the drama that tends to come up on HappyAlone. For that, I give you much-deserved Karma!

Hello again,
Hehe, you can sound as "stalkerish" as you want Laural, indeed, I do appreciate the compliments, more of a "O-Dusty bloke" now. Kind of jarring navigating the Ol' Happyalone forum, but it is a pleasure to see so many old/new KOL fans on here still jabber-jawing at each other about the Followill Bros' ! In regards to my "Positivity of my posts", very true I try to stray away from "outright flaming" others with mean posts and always keep an open mind to other's opinionation. Thanks again and hit on Yahoo Messenger/MSN Messenger with : JamiroFan2000@yahoo.com (Works on both). Cheerios!
