News on Album Four

yay! this is great news. i agree avastargazer, september is a great month for it to come out. i have my exams then so the boys' album is going to be a great way to make all the stress disappear !!

But the album stills without name... I'm really curious to know what's the name! And if I wasn't expecting for that so soon now I'm incredibly exciting about that I just want this album released in Brazil!

Although obviously I appreciate the info (karma given), in a way this is something I didn't want to know.

Now I'm just going to be waiting and waiting. This has happened with a band from Leeds called The Music (for those who don't know them). They're last album was out in 2004 and after a few problems they are finally releasing their new material in under 2 weeks (Monday 16th June 2008), but I've been awaiting it since I heard that they finalised the album in about November 2007.

I can tell that I am going to be exactly the same with album number 4 from the Followill's.

Still - its good to know its not too long a wait

Oh lord! I have feeling really depressed all day today and now I don't think I could be happier! Except of course the day it actually comes out I'm soo excited now. I was expecting it sometime early next year. but 3 months.. That is just brilliant!!!

In last months Q when asked "Where are you with the album?" Caleb said "Right now I'm thinking about another five-syllable album title. Our album titles that have five syllables seem to have worked for us. Why change a winning formula?" Thats a sign if ever I did see one.

Neither did I 'till I read that. At which point I had to go through them (to check he wasn't lying. naturally) and I must say for some reason it made me pretty happy. Maybe I have a wierd sub-conscience obsession with the number 5. Maybe I was just a giant 5 in a past life. Maybe I should stop talking.

second of all, does anyone know when they released on call as the first single in relation to the album release? i have a horrible memory and can't even remember if it was before or after BOTT came out. just wondering when to expect a new song! gracias.

That's a great question! I hadn't even thought of that - but can't be of help as i can't remember either

Also hope we're not getting excited for nothing - september is reliable right, right??? i so hope so!

gah you are useless! just kidding. really. i used my mad google skillz and on call was released on march 26th and then BOTT was released on April 2nd, a whopping seven days early! hopefully it leaked early, because 1 week is hardly worth anything.

and i think september is reliable, seeing as it said it on their website and rolling stone. if it was going to say september anywhere, i'd want it to be those 2 places!
