they played so well last night. first off helio sequence was great and so were the secret machines. just thought the sm played way too long. anyways kol played basically the same set they have been playin. i was surprised to hear joe's head. maybe they've been playin that recently, don't know. rememo live was excellent. the encore ws the same as it's been at a few of the recent shows- hrn, head to toe, snsl. there were so many more people there than when i last saw em in march. that's cool cuz they are gettin bigger and making more money, but that also means that more douche bags come to the shows. we couldn't get front row, even though we were really close, cuz we got there too late. what sucked is some of the people on the front row did not sing one single word the whole time. that really pissed me off. but anyways the kings did a superb job just like they always do. afterwards they announced an afterparty so of course there was a billion people there. got to talk to all five of them for a bit. i was especially happy to meet jared (so was my sister) and nathan cuz i' hadn't met them before. didn't really wanna be annoying and talk to any of the guys for too long cuz they were gettin mobbed. overall the night was incredible. the two hour drive home sucked though. jill took a bunch of pictures and she or i will post them soon.

sounds like a great time! Any details from the show would be great like any crowd interaction, stuff like that. Can't wait to see the pictures.

caleb hardly said a word during the show. the crowd was good i thought. they were loud and tons of people were singing. hardly anyone sang during head to toe haha and for some reason didn't seem like many were singing along during trani. it was funny when caleb thrashed his mic, he didn't hit it with his guitar, he just picked it up and slammed it down.

that's awesome that you went Andy, I was there w/ my friend and we definitely agreed on the sm playing too long. there were so many more people there than when i last saw em in march. afterwards they announced an after party so of course there was a billion people there. got to talk to all five of them for a bit. i was especially happy to meet jared (so was my sister) and nathan cuz i' hadn't met them before. jill took a bunch of pictures and she or i will post them soon. I went in March too and I agree about there being a bigger crowd, but I was like 2nd row for KOL last night, right in front of Caleb and then by like the encore we moved to like Caleb's left but the crowd's right, sorry i'm so confusing, the memories all just rush back and i can't think straight. But yeah, you would have only noticed me if you saw a kinda tall girl dancing next to a girl w/ like short swiss blond hair. We actually waved to Nacho and were like, "Hey Nacho!" and he not only acknowledged us but waved back. It was awesome, but then everyone around us was like how do you know him, who is he, what's his name again? But we totally sang to every song we could and danced our hearts out....and we definitely sang w/ Trani b/c i thought they did that AWESOME live and i was just completely smitten, i know, i'm a complete dork for saying smitten, but i was. I spent all day in school today watching my video from trani b/c it turned out to be my favorite. k, i'm babbling, sorry. I took a lot of pictures and some videos, but i can't post them until i get on the other computer. Unfortunately we couldn't stay for the after party b/c it was a school night and being out at midnight was bad enough, blah blah blah. I would have stayed anyways just to meet them but my mom had come b/c she wanted to see the band that i liked so much so i had her sit in the balcony. It was fantastic though.

i probably saw you. we were maybe three rows back and in front of jared. i agree trani was amazing. were those drunk idiots by you- the ones who just pushed their way right thru everyone at the beginning of the kings set? we had school the next day too. i can't remember what time we left but we didn't get back to auburn until 3:30. oh yeah and this is funny, my friend tom called and told me that when he and his gf were leaving they saw caleb on the way out and stopped and talked. tom's gf accidently hit tom's beer and the whole thing flew all over caleb. tom said sorry and he said caleb didn't say anything and just walked off ahahahahaha. poor caleb, he seemed like he was having a bad night.

YES! They were right next to us and before the kings came on they were trying to talk to my friend who is too nice to completely ignore them. But they left part way through it to get something to drink and we took their spot b/c it was more room to dance. But we didn't dance like hippies, i think. how would you say hippies dance? god, i hope that wasn't us. But that sucks that it hit him. i would have felt super guilty and horrible and wouldn't have stopped apologizing. But it was an accident, so she shouldn't have felt bad. My friend was getting her poster signed by Helio Sequence and I was waiting behind her but i was also kinda waiting behind these guys who were talking about the show when one turns around and accidentally hits my arm. That's when i realize it's the singer from The Secret Machines. He put his hand where he had hit me and apologized really sincerely. I was like, um, no it's cool, don't worry.

i'm sure you weren't dancing like a hippie. there was this stupid girl next to me dancing like that. she didnt know any words and she kept bumping into people cuz she had her eyes closed and she was feeling the love or something haha. which secret machines guy was it? the guitarist or the keyboard/bass guy? i talked to the guitarist for a bit and he was a really nice guy. he told me his name, can't remember it though. do you know anything about the helio sequence? i thought they were really good and i think the drummer is from modest mouse or so i hear.
