i saw a video of trani when they performed it at t-in-the-park in 2007,and it souded slower and more soulful.caleb lengthened the notes of it a lot,it sounded really cool.its a favorite of mine on youtube:D

Yeah, I was just about to say. Listen to Trani album version then the Apollo gig version. On the album he pretty much just talks it. Now he properly sings it. He's always changing the rhythm of the vocals too. I love the new version so much more now. That song has come a long way if you ask me.

yeah i just watched the hammersmith apollo dvd (again haha) trani has come a long way,so have the boys,so as far as improvising goes i think they are doing it a lot more lately:)

I watched a White stripes DVD i got, and i think they HAD the right idea when it came to showmanship. Not acting like a twat, but you know, changing the song. But i think its different with just two people in the band.

i am missing something here, why on earth would you want to hear a different solo for example, the song has the solo for a reason, why would you wont to hear a different one when you see them live?

i think my last message came over wrong, i think when they change things slightly its great to hear, but to moan if they dont seems really strange to me, i love every single song exactly how they are.
