does anyone else feel like we're starting to see a new kings of leon?
just like in their whole attitude to music and life?

It seems to me like they are getting much more comfortable with themselves & their music. Like they finally feel like they don't have to be type A or type B...they can do whatever they want & their fans will stay loyal.

They don't have to 'prove' themselves anymore, 'cause they've shown what they're worth with their 3 (fabulous) albums. They have gathered a flock of fans, which keeps on growing, and the approval of a lot of their heroes (like Eddie Vedder and Bob Dylan). I'm expecting them to go full mode now, and to play whatever music they want to.

i actually get kinda sad when i think about it cause i wasn't there from the beginning. i never experiences first-hand what it was like to see them at a small-ass venue and party with them aftewards without being harassed by security. who knows if that will ever happen again in their musical careers...
...but don't get me wrong, i'm so excited for the future of their music. they have enormous potential and they're so young still!!!

yeah Snap laura....I hadn't heard of them until recently, so didn't get to see them grow into the band they are today... but it will be interesting to see where they go from here. haha imagine them and us in 30 years, I bet we'll still be rocking

Their changing their style and evolving - as all great bands do
A band that sticks to the same trick that worked for them the first time fade out after a year or so

here is my theory: the followill boys, through their new experiences, have become "un-southernised" if u get what i mean...theyve lost most of their sexy accents, are becoming hairless and more feminie looking haha u compare them to the young, southern, unshaven and raw way they use to be... and theyre nothing alike.. i LOVE em and their music and everything, but i miss it so much... but have u noticed as every album is released a drastic change(s) occur?... i guess im just stating the obvious hey... im telling you, if u didnt already no, the social life that comes with touring has changed them.. oh and caleb- note for next album- i like it when i cant understand what u are singing!!

I like that their evolving it's exciting you don't know what your going to get next. But I too wish I had seen them live before this year, loved the music but for some unknown reason never saw them live. Thank god for my sister's boyfriend otherwise I may never had (even though it was me who bought the tickets).
