At the Nashville shows, Nathan switched out his drumsticks every song or so. Literally just tossed them to the side of the stage and they were promptly picked up by the stage crew. But, each night, I saw people who had gotten one! Maybe its childish, but I want a drumstick! Anyone have any tips or know what you have to do after the show to get one?

i have one of nathans drumsticks...sometimes i feel the tip just to feel the ridges that he made playing the drums.
as for advice:
stay at the front and when the show ends scream at a body guard / the roadies/ nacho to hand you something.
as of right now i have nathans drumstick, matts pic, calebs pic, jareds pic, a playlist and a black rebel motorcycle club playlist....just have to stay at the front and make friends with the body guards.

Lauralimonada and I share custody of one of Nathan's drumsticks. Well the story starts with her being amazing, for one, and Nacho being equally great. At the Download Festival, she went and said hi to him and told him we (Laura, Stacy, and I) came up from southern California to see them. So after the concert, I guess Nacho made it a point to hand us the goods. He tossed two drumsticks to Stacy and Laura while I was being pushed to the ground by the tons of people vying for souvenirs. When they fell into the barrier area he actually told security to hand the drumsticks to them, as all the other vultures were sticking their grubby little hands out. How sweet of him! When I resurfaced it was too late for me to get anything. Laura felt bad so as we were watching The Cure afterwards, she was like "You know what? I want you to have this." She insisted, so I accepted as long as we shared it. It was actually a really touching moment  Love you, Laura! I plan to give it back to her at the next show or the next time I see her, which ever is first. It was such a great trip and a great concert. I think I'm going to go give her some Karma right now! |

i caught one Nathan tossed into the crowd at a show in Toronto then a big guy grabbed it and i had no chance cuz im like 130 pounds and he was huge.

This is mine along with a mini poster:  Me, Laura and Moonage all snagged the poster's that were hung along the barricades. After the show people saw us carrying them and asked where we got them, we said we just took them from the barricades. They probably thought we had bought them, lol. |

Wow, I feel really bad now because I have 5 of Nathan's drumsticks.  The last two I got (from Atlanta and Nashville) were handed to me by Nathan's drum tech. Very nice guy!

I love the kings, but if i catch a drumstick in glasgow i'm curling up into the foetal postion till the end of the show! I think they throw lots of picks tho, i would be happy with one of those.

at the gigg i went to i dont remember them throwing anything off, i was seated so wouldnt of got anything anyways. i just remember them walking on doing there thing, and leaving meh, i dunno! |

i got lucky and got one of nathan's drumsticks in san diego. i just stayed after the show in the front row. the crew just throws out pics, set lists, and drum sticks. I also got one of matthews picks.

i've got one too(Lowlands festival, Holland), the show was over.. and a box with like 20 or maybe more drumsticks fell of the stage.. so we went crazy, screaming to the security guy.. PLEASE just give me one of those drumsticks pleasee, and this guy was just standing there very calm : nope can't do that.. but then someone from the crew said, oh it's no problem you can give them away so that's how i got one.. but i don't know if it's 'a Nathan used one' but does Nathan usually throw his drumsticks in the audience after the show..? because i can't remember him doing that |
