Dammit! Everybody always wants me to do their homework! I have most of a degree in Anthropology so I know a lot about... a lot. I'm such a nerd. i've become a supergeek since going back to uni. i'm doing a research project on the dust bowl depression in oklahoma. maaaybe i could slip some followill family history in there. You should! I've heard that Nathan loves researching his heritage, and you can kinda tell by the way he wrote where he was born. Looks like the kinda formatting a genealogist would use. You should send him a message with a description of your project and ask if he could contribute anything. And you could cite it as an interview from a native. Y'never know! He might write you back!

There's an anthropologist named Napoleon Chagnon who studied the Yanomamo in South America, and apparently he had a French associate or undergrad or something with him that was gay and having sex with some of the native boys or something. So, uh... yes, sometimes there's misconduct in the field. I think... seems like somewhere I heard that the Followills from LeFlore were truck drivers. YEAH! It's in an interview somewhere. I think Caleb says their grandfather drove a cement truck or something. Apparently the Followills just happened to luck out during the Dust Bowl; they eeked out a living in trucking. Very fortunate!

That's so cool that you researched that! Thank you! I kinda thought it was creepy!! Unless, of course, she was also researching her own family tree........ Which begs the question, Buck: You're either one crazy, obsessed fan, or related to them somehow. Which is it missy?

Very fortunate! ooh that would explain why they didn't rely on farming, thus avoiding losing everything and having to migrate. can you imagine kol being from california? that would be a little bit odd.

Which begs the question, Buck: You're either one crazy, obsessed fan, or related to them somehow. Which is it missy? Crazy/obsessed! lololol No, I actually do research my own genealogy and I really love history. And family histories! Any family. I just think it's really neat. So I was unemployed some months back and just flipped through some old censuses and looked for the name "Followill" along with all its millions of variations. I only studied it for a few days and then got bored and moved on. I think it's cool to see how your lineage has made you who you are. I SAID I was a nerd. OH and I sent everything I found to some Followills, so it wasn't just a waste of time. I forwarded on everything I found out. lolol It's funny, though, cuz I don't know much about living Followills, but I know how they migrated throughout the United States a few generations ago. And I was trying to see if they were really related to George Washington, but I can't find the link. Total needle in a haystack.

Damn, there goes another one of my theories shot to hell. Can you at least pretend you're related to the band? That would make things so much more fun!

In Belgium we call them inbreds .. Jared doesn't like it that much though. Why do you guys call them that? We don't . I was referring to that interview at Rock Werchter 2007 with Jared. He was telling about how scared they were to come back to Belgium and play there, 'cause they had played here before, 2 times in Brussels, and those were the two worst concerts of the Kings ever. A Belgian guy shouted inbreds at them when they played there and then Jared got into a fight with him. I'm glad they liked playing at Werchter (Jared: 'This crowd was so nice') and Pukkelpop though. Probably 'cause I was there, mwuahah. And I love the fact they've made an EP called: Day old Belgian blues. But yeah, Belgian crowds are hard to please sometimes.

At least WE frightened them! And does every American writes his letters apart from each other? 'Cause we were always taught to connect every letter.

But what could you say to Matt to hurt him? He's like ... perfect. (ooooh cheesy ) I always thought Nathan was the most stoical guy from the lot. He doesn't seem to get annoyed by things very quickly. I could be wrong though.
