oh you got me all excited. so you think we'd have a new cd before the end of 2008? thats like a year, awesome! That'd be so great! More new stuff and another tour probably, can't wait. I hope it does actually happen. But also, Please "We end the tour January 13th, my birthday is January 14th and hopefully we won't be in the studio by Valentines Day to start the next one because before this we're wanting to go to Brazil"  He could have said this  I really hope they come to Brazil for you! So maybe the next album could wait a bit! |

It's good news yeah - but do they ever stop for a break?? They're gonna be giving Jack White a run for his money - the work ethic in Tennessee is a bit scary. Glad I don't live there . I'm surprised they haven't done a proper European tour or South America with this album though. I'm not liking at all what this gossip means. I'm not tired of BOTT yet and I am sure they have a lot to do with this current album. Okay if what Caleb said is going to happen the way he told they'll be touring for 4 months straight out (and they're having a straight out tour) but this still seems a little time and without a south american tour. :/ They went to asia, europe, north america and oceania and didn't include Brazil Arrrrrrrrrg I'm very sad cause Nathan said they'd have a tour over here next year. |

i hate to ruin everyone's anticipation for the new album but i think it will be a lil while before it comes out i estimate 2009 at least but i hope KOL will prove me wrong!! i say this coz they said that BOTT was recorded a long while before they released it.........and their record label will also put it out a little longer too  however even if they do put the record out in 2009 I'm not worried coz i still ain't tired listening to BOTT and also those guys do need a rest after all this year but remember kids "good things come to those who wait" hopefully not for too long yeah guys  |

Ok, so now I'm a bit disappointed! I didn't know that about BOTT being recorded a while before it was released. But it would be quite soon to release another one I guess. Plus then they can still tour this album in Brazil!  |

Probably it can happens because touring less than a year with bott isn't fair. Bott was acclaimed by everyone and so they need to work with it as much as possible. No, I'm not from Brazil! It does seam a bit soon to start a new album, even if they did do the same with YAYM/ASH. It's a shame that they haven't been to brazil but the NME link say's they haven't finished with BOTT yet so maybe they'll carry on touring when they've finished recording before releasing the new. Slightly worried about the wham part they were ok for their time but....

It sounded like they really loved recording this last album so it'd make sense for them to be eager to start on the next. Having a creative outlet is really important too. I bet it keeps the boys sane after a year of touring! But yes, I hope they find time to play for fans in Brazil. Who wouldn't want an excuse to go to there!

Hmmmm....I'm curious, does anyone know how long it takes KOL to record their albums? Are they known for long recording sessions? I'm thinking if they start recording in Feb, it may see a summer 2008 release date if we're really lucky. But like someone posted earlier, it most likely won't see the light of day until 2009 I'm just dying to see these guys live. |
