I think since they're doing stuff like Charmer live now, it can't be easy to keep your voice like it once was. It deffo sounds better in the old one but that could be a mixture between many thing; the studio, the fact they're only playing on song and haven't been screaming much before it... etc.

You're right, his voice used to sound stronger, but I do think it still sounds nice now. And I just love the screams in Charmer. I always sing along with them, except that Caleb actually CAN get away with them and I CAN'T. I sound like a total retard doing them .

I swear to god, I get shivers down my spine every time I hear him screech in Charmer, my poor ears. I like it though. And I just *love* to annoy everyone around me by singing along to it, really loud.

He needs to start smoking 50 a day again. That's what I was going to say... Caleb really follows that smoke thing just because when he quit smoking his voice changed a bit. Edit: And after this time between the videos he must have learned things about his voice, the best way to sing and treat it...

im sure his voice is the same but practice makes perfect so i guess the more he uses it the more it gets better......i think caleb's vocals add greatness to their music

honestly charmer sucks ass and is to mainstream I don't want to lie, but I find it quite annoying the only part I like is a bit in the musical composition. I hope they don't continue to play stuff like charmer...

Too mainstream, you say? I reckon no radio station over here will play that song, 'cause it isn't commercial enough. Or maybe that's just 'cause I live in a retarded country, where schlager-songs are the hype.

don't get me wrong its the only KOL song I hate, but to me its like this. Its something I could see some people who don't apprecaite music at all listening to saying its the best kings of leon song ever, ect. when to me musically and lyrically theres so many better songs. Its annoying to me its not music.
Screaming to me is not music, its the rock n roll equivalent to rap.
Any idiot can scream and any idiot can rhyme over shit that takes pressing a button instead of actually learning how to play an instrument.

Who CARES whether music is made ingeniously. Whatever, they could make a song by just slamming a kettle, I wouldn't give a shit, as long as it sounded good.
And yes, the screaming makes the song a good song. There's tons of songs out there with the most ridiculous lyrics or melodies, yet they're amazing.
