i had a ticket for the oxegen music festival in ireland and the night before the gig jared was djing in the tivoli. my brother had emailed corona (who sponsered the dj set) and they sent him back tickets. one was for me but i decided that since the kings wouldnt all be present and jared would only be playing on the decks that it was not worth missing them play at oxegen. so i decided to go to oxegen instead and get a good spot and be good and ready for them! boy what a mistake.
i got a call that night from my brother who was in the vip room with all the boys. he had caught nathans eye while they were walking past and had thrown a demo cd that of his band to nathan, who upon seeing it came over and invited my bro into the vip room to talk. was i angry? understatement.
it gets worse.
i got to see the kings at oxegen who were amazing and when they were finished their set i stayed at the main stage.when i heard from my brother who somehow managed to get a ticket to oxegen at the last second and go to the kings of leon AGAIN it turns out that when they were finished at the mainstage he was walking to the new bands stage and he met them AGAIN. they were just walking through the crown, getting muck all over their armani clothes.Nathan recognised him and they got talking AGAIN. life isnt fair.

ha yeah ill glue myself to him. im going to see the guys soon and it will be the second time in three months so i feel pretty lucky myself

ha yeah ill glue myself to him. im going to see the guys soon and it will be the second time in three months so i feel pretty lucky myself aw man, thats so awesome. they're not touring anywhere near me anytime soon  i need to get a car so i can follow them around the country and be a creepy stalker woman. hahaha. |

I'm always interested to find out about new bands. They are brilliant, no wonder Nathan wanted to know more. I would definitely go and see them. P.S. I was at the DJ gig, was just checking out the band pics to see if I recognised your brother. I don't think so, but then again I was pretty wasted. |

I'm a moderator on another website and defo put up a link to their myspace. Ok there a Karma topic in the Site Stuff section, but it is basically if you do something good/bad someone will give or take away your karma. You can do this through the Exalt (give Karma) or Smite (take away) buttons under your avatar. Hope this helps explain it. Anyhoo, I'll give you your first Karma. Welcome to the board!!! |
