lol that's awesome hope its a good horse might get to the Melbourne Cup then i think i would have to bet on it! it's cool outta all the names the owners would have submitted that Kings of Leon was the one chosen.

ahahahaha thats awesome! lol..my dog's name is Leo..not quiet leon, but pretty good seeing as i didnt know who KOL were wen we got him (about 6 years ago)...i only just noticed my dog Leo has a similar name..wOOt!! i know wat im calling him from now on!

I missed this thread the first time it was posted. Wow...by a strange coincidence I was just telling my friends that if I ever got to name another horse (I grew up on a horse farm) I'd name it Manic Street Preacher. Glad to see I'm not the only one that names horses after bands.
However, most of the horses we named on our ranch were named after television characters. The last horse I had was nicknamed "Buster" after Buster Bluth from Arrested Development. And we had a JJ and a JD after Jack from Will and Grace and JD from Scrubs.

i wish i had animals to name after things. i got my dog when i was in fourth grade and she is named chloe because of ashley in winning london. i think i need an update.

haha i gave up on keeping it a secret. they're awesome. i sometimes still watch their tapes when i'm bored and feel like i never want to grow up.
