Sunday: I stayed home on Sunday. My girlfriend turned 21 that day, so she went to get some wine. We watched movies together: City of God and Zodiac.
Monday: My mother owns a boat that lies in a dock, a 15 minute drive from her house. I went sailing with it on Monday on one of the many lakes in Nashville, together with my girlfriend and my mother.
Tuesday: Kings of Leon are fanatic golfers. It is our favourite sport, we play it all the time. We also played it this Tuesday. After that we had dinner at my mom’s place, who made some sort of Christmas’ meal with turkey, in the middle of August.
Wednesday: I bought a house on Wednesday! It is pretty humble, but it is beautifully surrounded by oaks that are more than 100 years old. It’s my first very own house. I currently live in an apartment with my girlfriend.
Thursday: We flew to Europe on Thursday. I took some sleeping pills.
Friday: We arrived in Belgium to play our final festival gigs. I love playing at festivals, but the downside is that you can’t soundcheck there. Believe me, it sounds different everywhere. But to play in front of 40 000 people is great, it couldn’t be big enough for me. In September we’ll play club shows in America again, that would be for about 2500/3000 people.
Saturday: Yesterday they woke me up at 01:00 PM in Belgium. An our later the lobbycall from the hotel came and after that we drove for about an hour and a half to Pukkelpop festival. We hung around with Albert Hammond Jr, played at 05:30 PM and after that we hung around even more with Albert. We got drunk together. The Nine Inch Nails’s show was amazing.

Woops. Forgot to spell check, so don't mind the mistakes.
In the actual interview he says that they played at Pukkelpop at 04:30 PM, but remembered it was at 05:30 PM, so I changed it.

Yes i expected one of the kings on Alberts gig but none of them were there...
Albert did saw them in the back of the stage, i recognised him :-p and his gitarists stood beside me :-D
