possible interview with KOL?

alright, alright. i don't know if this has ever been done or tried before but i've seen it happen with other fan clubs/forums (mark hoppus did it for blink 182 fans)

what if we got one of us (or a couple, whatever) in contact with the press people for KOL and we did an interview with them?

we could ask them all the questions that we ask each other on the forum, we could post the interview here on the forum and we'd get more people to join the forum too (i don't know if that's a good thing but...) i'm saying forum a lot.

this is just something i've been thinkin about lately and i decided to throw it out there in a thread.

p.s. i have KOL's press rep's info. i've been trying to interview them for my school's paper and it hasn't been successful because of scheduling conflicts but maybe it'll be possible because the forum is gaining so much popularity, no?

anyways, let me know...fans (whatever we decide the name will be)

that's such a good idea! i've done it before with a few bands for my school's newspaper too, and it's usually not that hard after you actually get ahold of the people you need to talk to.

I've interviewed quiet a few bands for my radio show...(most recently the Kaiser Chiefs)...and I was planning on asking them for an interview in Milwaukee (I usually ask the band themselves if I'm going to see them two nights in a row like I did for KOL), but I didn't get the chance to talk to them, so I missed out.

I was planning on emailing to press agents for Lollapalooza to get interviews with KOL, Muse, and The Cribs. (My show is British themed, so interviewing KOL would be pushing it, but they are popular there, so I don't really think it'll matter).

Anyway, if I do score an interview, I'll be sure to let everyone here know so I can get your questions asked.
