I think this will be the last of the small venues for KOL. Seeing as how all their shows are selling out, bigger gigs are certainly the next logical step. This last one in Atlanta almost felt like a goodbye to me. They're already hitting arenas in the UK. So the question is what venue would you like to see them play in your city that would still retain some intimacy but would allow them to expand? In Atlanta- Would love to see them play The Fox. It's so beautiful and there's not a bad seat in the house even if you're up in the ceiling. Of course the ultimate fantasy venue would be my rooftop

I guess nobody wants to see them in bigger venues, lol.
Well they're playing the Greek Theatre here in L.A. and that is by no means small. There are like 6,000 seats there. I wanna see them some place smaller and sweatier and not in the trendy area of L.A. The Glass House in Pomona--afterparty in my dorm!

I don't want to see them in bigger venues either. I like it just like it is now, but I think you're right - these smaller places are a thing of the past. Kind of makes me sad.

Hmm...they played the same venue that The Raconteurs and the Arctic Monkeys played here in Chicago...so it's pretty big. The next biggest non-arena venue is probably either the Aragon or the Congress, and personally...I hate both of them, but it's better than something like the All-State or Sears Centre (which I live 1 mile away from, but still, yuck).
In Milwaukee there isn't really a choice of venues...it's the Rave or the Bradley Center...so I'm guessing they will continue to play the Rave there.
In Minneapolis, the First Ave is the premiere place to play...but it is getting a little small for them. I'd bet they move to one of the theaters on Hennepin next time, like The Strokes and Muse did on their last tours. It's a shame, because all of them are seated venues, and the energy is never the same. Other than those they aren't really any bigger club style venues in the downtown area...they are all smaller than the First Ave.
