SNL would be great, but I've said this before. If you REALLY want KOL to be huge, there is one surefire way to do it instantaneously. Oprah. You get an endorsement from Oprah, and they'll sell cds like crazy the very next day. I hate Oprah, but she does have this power. If she said on her show, "Ladies, you need to check out the band Kings Of Leon", their cds would all be in the top 20. This post is kind of in jest, but it is true.

You know what would be awesome?
If KOL gets on the show that Seth Rogen is gonna host...
All shows should have that combo in them.

let's do it! so are we chaining ourselves to the NBC headquarters til the big guys give into our demands or what? i'm all for protests. and bondage. That's an even better idea than my email campaign. I just bought my plane tickets to NY and I'm off to the hardware store to buy some chains. I'll meet you at the main entrance and I'll bring some Starbucks and donuts. See ya there! |
