It seemed to work for Conen, so lets try and get KOL on Saturday Night Live next season.
Just go to the nbc.com website, click on Contact Us at the bottom of the page, pick SNL and type in your request.
Maybe if they see enough emails with KINGS OF LEON in the subject they'll take notice.
I think it would be great exposure for the band - especially here in the States.

SNL is on haitus until next season, which mean they won't start taping again until next fall/winter around the end of October. At that point the Kings will probably be done touring this album. They only book guests with stuff to promote so sadly...it probably won't happen! Which sucks, obviously.

I didn't realize they started taping the new season at the end of October (that seems kind of late to me). I thought new shows started taping in September, and I noticed they were playing a show in New York on Sept. 19th, so I thought my dream could come true.
Oh well......

SNL still needs to redeem itself from having her on - and KOL would be a good start towards that redemption!
I thought the musical guests and hosts were kind of lame this year. It's still a funny show, though. I love Andy Samberg. "Dick in the Box" and "Lazy Sunday" are hilarious.

I think the boys where dreaming when they said they'd have a CD out by the end of this year...now with the BRMC tour taking place in Sept. (roughly)...they won't get to recording until Oct/Nov. and record label shit will take several months...there is just no way. Spring of next year would be pushing it, but plausible none the less. It's nearly impossible to release more than 1 album a year...but aiming for another April release date would be most probable.

Okay, I'm bringing this thread up again.....I refuse to give up!
The new season will be starting soon. I don't care when they're releasing what, I REALLY WANT THEM TO BE ON THIS SHOW!
I think I remember Caleb saying in an interview somewhere that they're bummed they haven't been asked to do Saturday Night Live, when bands like the Arctic Monkeys have been on it. So let's try and help them out.
Anybody with me?

im with you Chichi i know i kinda feel sad for them seeing as Arctic Monkeys beat them too it and they're not American but hopefully they might be on coz they keep saying their popularity is on the increase over there.................is that true by the way  they used to show SNL here in the UK but now they don't not sure whats up with that...........also the guys have a great sense of humour so they are perfect for the show |
