You toured with Kings of Leon. Did you like them?
Oh, The Kings. I love them. They’re all very sweet Southern gentlemen. Except for one night when they tricked us. They said, ‘Hey, we’re hanging out at this club, come and meet us.’ And so we took a cab there from our hotel, and it was a strip club.
Obviously we had to go in, because we’d gone all the way there. And Caleb bought me a lap dance with the nastiest girl you’ve ever seen, in front of everyone. It was not what I wanted exactly.
I had my revenge when we paid for a male stripper to come out on stage when they were playing ‘King Of The Rodeo’. It did not go down well, let’s just say that. They said it ruined a really important song. So, I’m sorry, but it was funny.

hahaha this made me chuckle How is King of the Rodeo important exactly?! It's not really spreading a message in the style of Ebony and Ivory for example is it? (showing my age there). Bless them. Haha funny though, if indeed it's true. |

hahaha this made me chuckle Sorry, gonna bump up an old thread  I just remembered this because The Like have just reformed with new members. I think Caleb is still annoyed at the KOTR stunt by the girls. He mentions it in the interview they did in New Zealand not long ago. I think they said more, but I can't find the full interview. It's around 1:13 : Also, 'The Like' had a song called "Caleb"...I'm guessing it's about OUR Caleb..lol. That's my real reason for posting lol The lyrics don't seem to be too loving from what I can hear. Something along the lines of .."I'd hate you if you weren't sad, they love you coz they have to, I'd kill you if you weren't already dead"..?  Did things not end too well between these guys? |

they all look pretty friendly in the pics of them on tour!
you know how caleb gets when the sound is off just a little bit! i can't imagine how he would react with someone else on stage "messing up" the show!
