they normally have an aftershow or just randomly drink in a nearby bar. your best bet is to ask one of the crew or just hang out at the back entrance and see if you can catch them x

Oh and hint, don't try to dress all skanky just to get in. Just be yourself. Maybe asking Nacho or any of the other crew guys if there is an after party.

I think chances of hanging out with them afterwards is kinda...well difficult, in that they will pose in a picture with you and sign your ticket and maybe say a few things to you...but after that....at least the times I've seen/witness this happen, they go about thier way...while they are very nice and cordial when meeting fans its usually doesn't go past that. I hardly consider this "hanging out"... I think it depends largely on how the show was and how they perceived the "feel" of the crowd...and if they are satisfied they will be more willing and enthaustic about meet and greets and what not.
Although, i know some on this board have been able to hang out with them in a real way and have real conversations, past "hi, can you sign my ticket?, i love you guys", perhaps they could elborate on this. I feel like Andy is one of the people on this board who actaully hung out with Caleb and threw a few drinks back.
I think the best bet is to see them in an non-urban location where they are limited to local bars and quieter settings, so they can't run off to a hip VIP location.

yeah i did. and thats prob the only time i'll ever get to. i chalk it up to the fact that there were like 4 people there. other people here have talked to them way more than me though. it's not hard to "meet" em, just hang out after the show, they'll come out.

yea totally, like meeting them is super easy, but i think hanging out would be this werid forced thing for them to do with fans, that is unless you were a supermodel....than i suppose it would be different.

it all depends on where u live if u live in a town where theyre very known, its going to be really hard to get backstage passes. If u live in a town where theyre unknown then maybe u have a chance

I think hanging out afterward is a mixture of all the points you all have made. For instance, the small town thing: I'm from New Mexico and they're not very known out here. They did a seperate show out here while they were on tour with U2. I think the whole point of how they felt the show went is valid too because i think they were surprised with the outcome of the show out here, and Caleb was super friendly. However, the supermodel thing's a little off. I think they kinda like to hang out with people who don't seem to know them too-too well. My 1st show i went alone and all the kids rushed up to Caleb to get his signature. Like you all said he's incredibly kind and signed for them. When he saw that i was alone and away from them he came up to me and said i was more than welcome to hang out with them, I think it all just depends on their moods and the city/scene. In portland, my friends and i were given passes, but that's not a huge "scene" type city. However, in seattle they didn't hang out with anyone but eddie vedder. Sanfrancisco there were after parties but they were strange. I think it can also depend on their tour manager at the moment. I'll stop now i'm Running-on with rubbish. Sorry

Ha! that's cute. i doubt anyone here thinks you're crazily obsessed. if you are obsessed, i think it'd be ok on here because i think we all are a little KOL obsessed.
