ha jill, i knew you would start talkin about how you kissed caleb as soon as you joined the board haha. and why wouldnt I andy...i do believe the first thing you did when you joined this forum was post about how you and caleb talked for a long time at the show and he bought you drinks...obviously that was the greatest night of both of our lives |

sorry this is so long
kol was incredible. front row and screamin like a battlecry. the music sounded sooo good in workplay. at the end of the set caleb thrashed his mic stand with his guitar and the mic flew off. it came straight at my face and stopped like a foot away. it was like the matrix. i stood there completely calm (wasted) and it was like it was slow motion. i wish it had hit me in the head. i could have a scar with and an awesome story behind it. when the show was over i was waiting to ask nacho where they were drinkin later, and i ended up talking to this girl. her three wasted guy friends came over and shook my hand and one guy told me that i played a good show. i was like, "who do you think i am?" he said, "you just played, you guys were awesome." then he asked me to sing him a song. i told him my voice was shot (it actually was very raspy from singin really loud). he insisted so i sang him the chorus from "head to toe." he thanked me and i went to the bar. me, jill, walt, and katie waited for almost an hour and pretty much the whole place cleared out. we went to their tour bus and caleb and matthew were there. got pics with them and i small-talked with matt's step-dad, john. went back to the bar after waiting with jill for jared or nathan to come out of the bus. they never came. suck. went back in the bar and caleb was in there drinkin it up, of course. i would be damned if i didn't have a beer with him. he was really cool and talked to us for a long time. i asked him where he got his gold chain and if i could have it. he politely said, "no, i just got it two days ago in the french quarter." "i'll give you five dollars," i replied. we talked about how awesome gold was and he told me to watch "the lost boys" cuz it would change my life. i told him how random dude earlier thought i was him and he laughed and told nacho. then i finished my beer and asked caleb to get me one. he was like, "holy shit! you are the first person ever to ask me for a drink. everyone always wants to buy me drinks. i'll get you a beer and a shot of anything you want." and he did. (i asked him b/c i thought he was drinkin for free cuz he 's in the band and all but he wasn't so i felt like a jackass). then when we went to the bar he told me he felt like he was in a western, so he got everyone in the bar (maybe 20 people) a drink on him. every time one of us said something cool we'd clink beers. that made me feel good. this blonde chick at the bar wanted him really bad and he told me he didn't want her cuz she was an easy target. then he pointed out some other easy targets. he asked me if i straightened my hair and told me that straightening your hair is the shit. he told me not to cut it, but i said i was ready to and that it had been long for a long time. i was glad i got to talk to him for awhile. jill said we had a special bond haha. we didn't even talk about his music or anything. it was like he was my friend. but that's what sucks about these kind of things. if i somehow ever get to talk to him again, he won't remember me. there were tons of other things we talked about that i thought were cool, but i think i have already told you way too much. night was near perfect.
here's some new stuff:
caleb said he was mad at jared that night. didnt say why but i never saw them talk at all on stage.
i asked caleb where jared was cuz jill is in love with him. he had gone home with his girlfriend unfortunately. caleb made me tell jill that he was the real brains behind the band and not to waste your time with jared. that was really funny.
i think the only thing i asked him about the band was if they read the .com message board. he said the actual band didnt but someone reads it for them. if they read that now i'm sure they will be disappointed with the quality of posts.
we talked about memphis and how awesome it is.
he told me a random story about how he hooked up with this girl and he took half a viagra. he said he had "an obnoxious boner." i have no idea why we were talkin about that but it was funny. maybe i shouldnt have told that one.
after i put a drink on his tab he asked what name i told the bartender. i said "caleb followill." he said i was supposed to say "caleb motherfuckin followill." and i said next time i'd say "caleb the motherfuckin bitch followill." we laughed and i have no idea why. we were both drunk.
that's all for now. i don't think there is anything else anyway.
