rahhh.....
I'm not one of those jealous girls. but if I were, I'd be jealous right now. really jealous.
especially of that one with jared. "when you look at this pic, think of it as me singing to you?" wtf?
oh well... I'm not a jealous girl. so I'm not jealous.
I'll just keep telling myself that.

Doesn't it warm your heart? I'm glad they do...in a few years they may not do that anymore...they'll be married to super models and we'll have to remember back to the good ol' days when they hung out with fans.

Plus she got some awsome shots! I am green with envy. Thanks for sharing the site PS - I'm kidding about the shrine everyone...jez, I have a boyfriend. I hide the shrine in the closet...haha...

I'm glad they do...in a few years they may not do that anymore...they'll be married to super models and we'll have to remember back to the good ol' days when they hung out with fans. That is why I love them. they are so humble and really care about the fans. It's about the fans, they should never forget. The fans are about the music, they are like your extended music family. I feel that it is tragic when a musician puts a wall between them and the fans and raises themself on a platform. They then believe "I perform up here and you listen down there". The musician can get a lot from their fans, such as musical inspiration. Musicans miss out on a lot with that wall. Yes, there is that fear of really crazy fans, but you won't have that problem if you show you are human and don't put yoruself of a platform. Tori Amos calles her fans "ears with feet". Aw, I love that name. She has such a dedicated fan base because of her dedication and humblness towards them. As Michael Stripe once asked, "Can I borrow your fans?" She has songs that she writes based on stories that fans tell her, or letters she gets (Pretty Good Year - about a letter she got from a boy asking why girls demand so much from boys, questioning her feminist attitude). It's pretty cool. One song that comes to mind is a song called Apollo's Frock about the fans at the Apollo theater who were fighting about new fans dissing older fans, or something along the lines of that.

Yes yes they're very nice but to be fair we are the reason they are successful so although they are fabulous musicians & deserve it, the reason they get to do what they love is because of us. Us spending our hard earned pennies on their CDs & gig tickets. So they should be nice to us.

I hope that Tori's appreciation for her fans is an example to all musicans! Its always a relief to hear that some of your favorite musicians are really just down to earth people. After all, they put on one pant leg at time, just like you and I. I really liked your post!

That is right, they do put up one pant leg at a time, thought the Kings of Leon's are the skinniest pants I have ever seen. Hahaha Tori does meet and greats before or after each show which rocks. Here's a link about her and her generoisity. Makes me smile www.oneway.com/ewf/frames.html
