Hey! I'm Marta. I live in Poland, but I'm originally from California. I'm a pretty new KOL fan, but I lurves 'em.  I listen to so much music something has to REALLY make an impression on me to stay on my musical radar for long... and if my obsession is anything to go by then the Kings have REALLY impressed me! Hehehe.... Anyway, I'm relatively new to Happyalone so I thought I'd post here.  |

I say go for it "queenmotelface" by the way, i heart your name- it's brought up some interesting graphics in my brain...it involves a crown, a hotel, and a nose! Anyhoozlebees- I didn't properly introduce myself before posting either - oops! I just started getting into the kings of leon a few weeks ago, I know - realllllly late I am at finding good music! I kept hearing about them ever since I started getting into indie/rock music (is that what it's called?). I actually started with Arctic Monkeys about 2 years ago, which lead to We Are Scientists, which lead to Klaxons, then The Strokes, then The Maccabees, and now I finally got to The Kings of Leon. whew what a ride! I've been lurking these boards a few days now and everyone seems great, hope to find out about new great bands here as well! As well as chatting about KOL of course! ok now i'm done. |

okay, so here it goes... hi ya'll...the real name's trisha. i'm from kentucky (but i live in ohio right now). i graduated from an art & design school (fashion & writing). i am a designer, working on making my own store. its clothing inspired by music (all kinds). which includes: patsy cline, musicals, the raveonettes, brmc, the shangri-las, the killers, pete yorn, aretha franklin, elvis presley, snow patrol, imogen heap, phantom planet, outkast, ryan adams, the ronettes, white stripes, the dixie cups, 4th avenue jones, disney soundtracks, the cold war kids (so much more, my myspace is pretty ridiculous) and of course, kings of leon!!!! i was a long time lurker, and now i've taken the plunge into membership. you all are hilarious!! much love to berryy & LDN (my fellow mattyluvers) and my homegurl, interestingtrash, for their love and conversation!! look forward to talking to you all |

^^ where in Ohio do you live? Columbus, here. I know Chichi lives in Cleveland. There are a few others too. Psychadellic Squid (she hasn't been on here in a long time) lives in Dayton. ^^

indeed. i am on the book of faces... although, i must say, i've somehow completely weened myself off of my facebook addiction. in fact, the more obsessed i became with HappyAlone, the less i logged on to facebook. basically, my facebook doesn't stand a chance.
