We could've....but alas, your love for NZ music scares me just a little bit.=D Mint Chicks (Y), great last show at Transmission room, stole guitarist's waterbottle Veils (meh) COYH (double meh) Coshercat Honeys (soindieihasnotheardofthem) My musical tastes are very Britishly (is that a word?) based. Noooooooooonetheless, how'd you find the show last week? My experience was amazing, got Caleb's pick and all! XD BAHHAHA!!! I know my love for NZ music has wildly increased..... Were you the girl that was filming Kittyhawk? My experiance was AMAZING! They were so good! Right in front of Jared

Think this is a good idea then I dont have to fuss with making a new post, thanks Hi I'm Lavinia. I'm a New Zealander too! I joined aaaaages ago but I've forgotten my email address that came with the username, so I just made a new one. You wont know me either as I was a shy little one at the time I joined I've seen Kings of Leon twice, which I think is pretty lucky because honestly no good bands come to NZ. I'm really into NZ music like The Veils, Cut Off Your Hands, The Coshercot Honeys and The Mint Chicks. My fav international bands would have to be Patrick Wolf, Bright Eyes, Kings of Leon (of course ) and Beirut. I play cello and make films in my spare time. I also can turn the littlest introduction into a blabbering story.... So it's nice to be here again hope to get to know you lot this time hahahaha. Hey Lavinia

I'm not new either but I want to introduce myself to all the new people since there are so many on here lately. I've noticed that a couple waves of people join after every leg of the Kings' tour. I know that's how I joined. Saw them live in June and just couldn't get enough to satisfy my KOL addiction. Anyways, my name is Laura Limon (if you google my name, you might find some fun things ) I live in San Diego, recent college graduate, looking for myself and a job and man those two things are exhausting. My friends make fun of me for many reasons but my KOL obsession ranks pretty high on that list. Welcome everyone! Please be kind and respectful to each other. And, just as a piece of advice, I always try to post as if the Kings were reading what I'm writing. Because it's true, they do read our forum. Just a little advice... love, Limon

^^ Upon your advice, I just googled you. I am currently reading your piece on MEChA.org and it's amazing girl, you are such a good writer. Everything you say about college and materialism and 'those girls' in college really strikes a chord within me - it really is the same the world over. Keep up the good work!

laura, I don't enjoy googling people anymore (that sounded dirty) but I do enjoy flickr-ing people nowadays and this was the first thing that popped up: I hope you don't mind if this is really you although I doubt it! I've never had a newbie thread either but I joined directly after I saw them at Bonnaroo of '07. I've been a fan of KOL since the VW commercial. Gah! I had to do so much research to find out what band that was! I'm 20 born and raised in San Antonio, TX but I am now living in Denver. I move around often and I think my next location will be SF or Miami. Although if I get my passport soon I'll probably spend the summer in Paris, and then the summer in Australia. It makes sense cuz their summer is our winter! Not in school, not *really* working. Just traveling and snapping photos. My first live show photo thingy will be the Editors so I'm so excited!! I hope to be a freelance photographer. Wish me luck. And you guys seem awesome! Not only is KOL my favorite band right now I also enjoy Lupe Fiasco, We Are Scientists, the Roots, and Arcade Fire. I also love the Bobs (Marley and Dylan). fin

Ill introduce myself now because I'm bored haha. I'm from australia and I'm a youngin' (though I do apparently act older than my age ha). My 5 fav bands are the smashing pumpkins, kings of leon, red hot chili peppers, led zeppelin and arctic monkeys. I'm in school (obviously) and that all I can think of now

Hey there. Thought I'd do the honourable thing and hit the intros first.
I'm Lillian (evidently), have 20 years to my name and am a journalism/pop culture uni major studying in Sydney. I use the pop culture aspect to justify extravagant gig tickets and then write reviews for street press to make it all seem more legitimate.
Boy, I've liked Kings since I was on exchange many years back and hit some hip record store desperate for anything English language. I've seen them a good few times since- Enmore Theatre Sydney a few years back and Big Day Out. I travelled a bit last year and saw them in Cardiff and the Hammersmith. I went to both Sydney concerts, and scored a Nathan drumstick at the 2nd show (alas, no euphamism)!! It was pretty much the most successful and victorious I have ever felt.
I'm a bit of a music anglophile- I love all the cliches like Arctic Monkeys, but I'm in no way exclusive, as evidenced by my current Sugababes addiction. It really needs to end ASAP, though, it's getting embarassing.

Well, i introduced myself before but I'll do it again. Hi, I'm...Morgan. Probably not expecting that right with the screen name an' all. I'm 19, its my birthday in 5 days though, close to Calebs W00t! I live in Melbourne, Australia. I have lurked here a bit in the pictures of caleb section, this is a great place for KOL pics!! I have liked Kings Of Leon for 2 years now. Since their Festival Hall gig I've not stopped listening to them. Other music I am into... The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Silverchair, QOTSA, Wolfmother, White Stripes, Klaxons, Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs....lots of stuff. I work full time in an office as office admin but I wanna do graphic design, ha yeah like thats gonna happen anytime soon! I also draw quite a bit, and i'm planning a Caleb drawing that i'll load up onto Deviant Art when it's done. Hello Fellow Aussies! And hello fellow KOL fans!
