Yok shi mash! Jane dobray! Yach ton vichi! Those are the only 3 things I know how to say in Polish. And because I don't know how to spell them, I'll translate: How are you? Good morning! and How's it hanging? (I'm 1/2 Polish). And speaking about people from the Netherlands, I read a somewhere once that they are the most content people in the world because they have absolutely no expectations of anything ever good happening to them....so they're never disappointed! Honest...it was a scientific study! Really? People from Holland always seem so cheerful and loud, .. especially loud. Did I mention how much I love their accent though?! I always like to think Flemish is the 'standard' Dutch and Dutch from the Netherlands is the dialect, though it's probably reversed. And Axela, maybe I'll visit Poland (or Finland) someday. I have this dream of travelling around Europe. Maybe I could make my own version of the movie Eurotrip, but without the weird incest kissing and stuff. |
