I am a newbie who is just getting into KOL. Their latest cd seems pretty good with the exception of a few songs. For true KOL fans, what other bands do they typically like? Soundtrack of our lives is 1 I really like and I dig QOTSA + much much more.

I was going to argue that, but I'm pretty much doing that right now...while doing billing and paperwork in a doctor's office.
And, being totally awesome, which isn't so typical of all KoL fans.
Only a select, precious few.

lol ^^ yeah i think kol fans are quite diverse!....like i'm 16, female and love football more than alot of men...yet at the smae time i love reading and am bit of a smart ass (so i'm told)

hmm well im 16 play guitar and rugby and drink rather heavily. i like to read books as long as they dont include a boy wizard who beats the same evil dude every fucking year.....you know who im talking about....

ok i'll look into that, now exams are over i'm going on a reading spree!!! Lord of the rings does rule all...try reading unfinished tales and silmirilian they are good...i fell in love with turin but it was slightly icky in parts but i will leave that up to you to discover!

Thank you Suneyedgil, No I havent seen BRMC live ,I really want to. Iv"e seen feeder a few times, I have met them a few times too. Grant is the best ,he brought me and my mate a few drinks last time. such a nice guy.

Definitely don't think there is such a thing as a typical KOL fan, the fans in this forum seem so diverse which is brilliant.
I'm Sarah, just turned 30 and have seen the Kings 3 times already this year.
They have blown me away each and every time. Can't wait to see them again in November.
