Well definitely new pics. Most of the stuff linked on the home page is back from their youth and young manhood days! And I keep seeing dates that say 2005. I dunno... someone visiting the site for the first time would be turned off by that. You totally are, I was just searching for pictures on google a couple of days ago and I found the main site and I totally didn't bother looking around. |

I think we should make the ramdomness section private to members cause people have their own info on it and maybe it shouldnt be floating around

really? you think we need 18+ areas? out of genuine interest, which forums would you say this is applicable to?
another random questio..Is it true that in the US you have to be 13+ for certain band forums? i remember being too young for an Eminem one..hahaha i can guess why!

^^^ i think the whole forum should be private except to members. i know that very impractical because no-one would join as they wouldn't know what it was, but i bet heaps of people lurk and get links and video downloads from the 'music' section without becoming a member and acknowledging people. i know thats why the share section is private, but we always post links in music + band section  |

With some forums your "application" or whatever has to be reviewed by a mod before you can join. I think that'd be a good idea to weed out the spammers and whatnot.

Maybe somesort of wikipedia-esque page about the band for newbies to learn the KoL basics? (I know they could just go to wikipedia but we could have our own members-run one - might get a bit more detail and "need-to-know" stuff). It might take quite a lot of moderation though...

That's a good idea, everyone can make their own wikipedia group page, which a quite interactive, so there could be a link when you sign up to take you there.
When the site is done up, will we still have our post numbers and karmas, or will be have to start again?

I agree - peeps at school know im obsessed with KOL and express how weird it is that "random" people keep popping up on my myspace... i would hate for em to read my posts in randomness.... lol, its only for the eyes of the HA-ers! i trust you all, and, it would be horrible if some of em came on here to take the piss or something |
