No, it doesnt normally skip. I just tried the hi-qual option on Itunes, but it skipped again. I've even borrowed it from other people and tried to rip theirs, same thing.

There has to be a limit. I know we can randomly, and of course with no bad intention, talk about something else that's not what the thread was about but, we need a "chat on the threads" limit because it's a little hard to follow the threads. |

Hi, I am fairly new here but it seems a bit odd to me that I signed up with the KoL website and had to sign up again for the message board. Couldn't you integrate the two so the message board accepts KoL site members' details? And... I supplied them with an avatar image with a direct download from my Mac but for your site I seem to have to have a web URL (site) to do the same. This is a bummer because I don't have a website! (well, I do but not for this kind of stuff, it's a holiday flat http://www.upthecreek-in-kingswear.co.uk). Also, there are no instructions on how to incorporate an image into one's message; I notice that lots of people do so there must be a way!
Otherwise it's all good fun!

you had to do that because this is not the "official forum" anymore, they had built a new one over at their web page. Hope that helped.

This forum only became linked to the KoL site when it was being updated for the new album so I'm guessing they just hadn't set up the new official forum yet and this was a temporary replacement. |

Happyalone.com is a whole website - not just the forum. The official site kinda borrowed the forum for a while when they updated the site.

Maybe you can renew the site, not the forum but like the pictures and stuff. Caus if you would come and visit the site, it looks like it's dead since say 2004. Nobody knows there is this awesome forum attached too.. So maybe you guys could, I don't know, modernize a bit.. Just sugesting.. And yeah, maybe a chat place caus where else can we talk about stuff that is about kol but we kinda disturb some people.. :-)

Well definitely new pics. Most of the stuff linked on the home page is back from their youth and young manhood days! And I keep seeing dates that say 2005. I dunno... someone visiting the site for the first time would be turned off by that. Also perhaps a new background pic? The red font is really hard to read over some parts of it. I like the background KOL uses for their youtube page: youtube.com/user/kingsofleon . And while on the subject of the red font... perhaps a different color? Or at least more than one so it isn't so hard on the eyes? And the cursive on the home page is also not too practical.  |

We've been talking about ways in which to update the place and put some funky things together so, if any of you guys have any (sensible-ish) ideas please post them here, get involved! Tell us what you want to see. If you have anything that you want to share or any fabulously cool pictures to put in the super cool new gallery that Sarah is building, please send all suggestions and ideas to us at happyalonedotcom@gmail.com and we'll take them all into account. Alternatively post them here  i have some cool pictures but not to sure how to get them on? Can you help? |
