I work for a small web design company in California. I work on the flash applets for the website, we have another 3 guys which usually do all of the layout designs. I put 'em together  . |

Yeah, html can only go so far, then you can explore CSS, then add java to that, then PHP and so on. I love flash, nice and smooth, easy to use and a very user friendly interface.

i usually do all that sort of stuff on livejournal
but like you said you can only go so far with html

Yes, HTML sort of bores me now. It's fun to do unusual sort of designs with it, but I'd rather explore bigger and more powerful applications. You should give flash a go, it's really not that difficult to get into. I reckon if you are capable to do HTML comfortably, you will be using flash.

Whatever, I've only just noticed what a jackass you are. Do you say this kind of thing at parties? Yeah, html can only go so far, then you can explore CSS, then add java to that, then PHP and so on. I love flash, nice and smooth, easy to use and a very user friendly interface. Have you actually heard yourself? It strikes me that you're probably quite poor at your job (if, in fact, this is your job and you not just some snot-nosed tea-maker looking over peoples shoulders), if you feel the need to denegrate other peoples work to help your own ego. The emptiest vessels make the loudest noise, as they say.  |

Well its not what id call evidence, to be honest. Ive not actually looked at it, but I assume its one of any number of random good-looking websites - whether or not you actually designed it i'd never really know. Im not calling you a liar, i don't really care if you designed it or not - im just saying that providing a link to a website doesnt prove anything. Regardless. Listen man, I was never about to enter into any contest about who knows more about gifs and jpgs and shit - you undoubtedly do. But i believe you did do something wrong. You started this thread quite obviously with the intention of insulting the design and provoding yourself with the opportunity to talk about how good your own abilities are. Thats not hard to see, though it looks like a few people have fallen blindly into your desired backslapping session. I just think thats a little sad, and if you must recieve validation from others for your work, there are much more subtle ways - most of which don't involve insulting other people. Sorry for getting personal, but at least i did have a point to go along with it. And I'm bigheaded for having a wider knowledge base than you over it? Whatever you loser. No, you're bigheaded because you have an uncontrollable need to yell about how good you are at what you do. Have you noticed how most people dont do this?
