Wow Gnomey Wow! I've tried to combine size and scroll tags so many times and not been able to get it right. I suppose I should look at the board help as I'm sure there are some hints on combineing tags in there. The doozers deserve the love they do all that work and it get eaten. You have to admire their work ethic and their moustaches.

Oh he used to stay in my luchbox all the time. i would go to school and find these lil nibble bites in my sandwhich lOL petie is one in a million. he is special

Duvet/quilt and it is the coolest thing in the whole world. I'm sure there were pollitcal undertones to Fraggle Rock. The doozers have hat whole work ethic going on and the Gorgs were the big things that chased the fraggles.

i liked that about jim henson productions in particular. there is always so much more underneath. as a kid u don't really understand it all but being a lil older and seeing thru new eyes u understand the complexity not only of t he story lines but the show concepts themselves. childrens shows are so much more than what meets the eye. it's like fairy tales, they r intended for adults and delivering a message through story is one of the most effected ways to get it across. i just love jim hensond mind and how it opporated. he had such a unique and beautiful way of telling his stories and delivering his messages. they were grand. the man is a master and deeply missed.

Deffinatetely. I admire The whole Henson legacy. They are all perfectlly realiized worlds. I think the way that everything has a voice and is equall from rats to erm sweetums. Everyones got a job to do but each values the other.
I also feel that Gene Rodenbury's work is the same granted you either like it or you don't but throughout its incarnations Startrek has been working on making the world a better place by example.

i think that's what gives strength and longevity to these types of shows. they last and are admired by so many because of their deeper meaning; becasue of t he ideals that they portray; because of their messages. they do, no matter what people believe or whether they are conscious of it or not, make people think and think in ways that they would not normally have done. they create an understanding that stays with people.

This is an intersesting discussion, that i have only just come across. I have nothing to add, possibly due to the chinese wine ive been drinking tonight - however i would like to add that as a film-maker, Henson was incredibly ambitious. That scene where the muppets are riding bikes would considered impossible by many sensibke minds. And any man who can come up with a creature that bangs his head repeatedly on the piano becuase he cant work out the next verse of mary had a little lamb is a genius in my book. Though that particular character did scare the shit out of me when i was a wee kiddie.
