Even if this is not the place we should talk about that, one year ago I was addict by The Veils... I couldn't stop listening to "the tide that left and never came back" and yes the lead singer has one of the most amazing & soft voices I know.

SO funny that you mention The Veils. I have spent the last two days being totally obsessed about them! I love random wizard kiwi bands! Does anyone know when they are coming back to NZ?

I was so gutted to find out that they played at the San Fran last December. Needless to say I didn't go. I listened to an interview the lead singer gave and I swear I fell in love with his voice then and there. Phwaor. Happy Easter! (if that is the correct salutation!!)

Hell I'm from Wellington (where Ozzie, Kiss, Alice Cooper and Queens of the Stone Age amongst others have all played this weekend) and I'd rather listen to (the English) band The Enemy any day. As I don't listen to the radio I don't hear New Zealand bands despite living here, it is only occasionally on C4 where I catch them. If any of my fellow New Zealanders would like to recommend other NZ bands then I'll have a listen.

I know Finn's here at the moment, So I assume the others are as well. I had a yarn to him a couple of weeks ago at a Little Brother / Mala Brajkovic show.

Fighting The Shakes The Checks The Datsuns The Coshercot Honeys Cut Off Your Hands The Bonnie Scarlets that should be enough to start you off.

Cut off your hands........ I like them I think but can't remember much of what I've heard... Ok, just been on myspace, and have realised they played in my city just recently!! That's the second time I've missed someone I would've seen in the last month

COYH always put on a good live show. It's a shame you missed them,
got to hypem.com or the elbo aggregator and search for their song You and I..
it's a good one.
