So 1 thing I always here from KOL fans on how to improve their live shows is possibly doing a cover song. Just for the hell of it!! So I thought I'd start a thread about with you guys listing what you'd like them to do. In all honesty, I love when bands do cover of cheesy songs, so I'm gonna have to say:
Janet Jackson's "Control" Europe's "The Final Countdown" or a Wham! song since they were hinting about that on their new album.
If they did a cover of a band today, I'd say:
The Strokes' "Take It or Leave It" All American Rejects' "Move Along" Kate Nash's "Mouthwash"
Now remember, this would be KOL's take on it so even if the original song is terrible, just imagine a song that KOL could make awesome.
And please NO Rihanna's "Umbrella"! How many covers can folks do of that song! lol Let the games begin!!

I'd love to hear their take on some old bluesy songs (like "Dock of the Bay" by Otis Redding, etc.) I'd also love to hear them cover anything by the Rolling Stones or Neil Young.

"I Saw Her Standing There" by The Beatles. I can really hear the kings doing this. Maybe slow it down a little, turn the swing into a swagger and have Caleb going nuts with his super-raspy voice. Or "Livin' Lovin' Maid" by Zeppelin. Sounds something like what the Kings might do anyway.

even though if i was at their concert i'd wouldnt like them to do a cover song cuz i wanna hear their songs, i definately agree with either the rolling stones or neil young cuz they have the same kind of sound. my ultimate choice would be sympathy for the devil by the rolling stones.

they've really grown as musicians. their ability... their technique... their style...
i think it's time they tackle Vengaboys' 'Boom Boom Boom.' i think they're ready.

A CCR-song WOULD be lovely, I vote Down On The Corner. And for some reason I'd like to hear the KOL-version of I Don't Feel Like Dancin' by Scissor Sisters.

Just to give them a challenge i'd love to hear Handle With Care or End Of The Line by the Travelling Wilburys with all the boys doing the idividual parts cos i reckon they can all sing and it'd be nice to hear them all even if it was just once.

I can just see it now Caleb singing 'BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM I WANT YOU IN MY ROOM!' but seriously i'd quite like them to cover a strokes song or possibly nirvana i think Calebs voice would suit a Nirvana song.

It's time they take on Bowie! I haven't ever heard a good cover of Moonage Daydream, but I know KOL is the only band who can give it to me just the way I want it! I want to hear Caleb sing "I'll be a rock n' rollin bitch for yooouuu!" and watch Matt tear up the guitar solo.
