I was just wondering, what song do you think sums up kings of leon? I think Trani, but others may think otherwise. So i devised this:

It was the first song I ever heard of them. A local band covered it, and I immediately fell in love with it: the rhythm, the lyrics, the 'na na hey hey's'. When I downloaded the original version, it was even better. It initiated me into their music, so I kinda have a special relationship with that song. I never get tired of it!

Maybe a strange word to describe them, but I feel like their music is like something real, that comes from their hearts (but not in a corny way). They write about what they see, experience, believe, .. And all of us can relate to several aspects of what they sing about. They mean what they sing/play, therefore it's pure.

I think it depends on what "era" we're going for. YAYM would be Trani or Red Morning Light. ASH would be probably be Four Kicks. Overall, I'd say Trani though.

Reason:

Because it's pretty much their best song. It's beautiful and kind of bizarre. And I feel like if you like it, you'll like all their other songs.

Someone said pure, so I'll go in the same vein and say heartfelt.

Reason:
Because that's what everything they do feels like, like they really love what they do and the songs they write. And the songs don't sound like they're writing them to keep up some bullshit image.

It's very well balanced.
