i have been listening to their show from Feb. 2006 in sydney. the one that was broadcast over Triple J Radio.
At the beginning of wasted time caled sings a few lines
this is a total guess on what he is singing but it goes something like this.....
"is it alright if pissed on the fire
but my piss dont work no more
is it alright if i pissed on the fire...
my piss dont walk right out the door."
then they go right into wasted time.
any ideas where this comes from?
this is the first ive ever heard it.

I know exactly what you are talking about. When I saw them in Fall 2005 that part you are talking about is sandwhiched in between Pistol of Fire and Wasted Time. Because of the placement of the song I think it goes...

He is saying is alright that his pistol is on fire because its referencing an STD, so he is making sure the girl still wants to go through with it because she has a chance of catching something. I guess she chose not to sleep with Mr. Pistol on Fire, because at the end she walks out the door.
Where can I find that, I have been looking for it ever since Fall 2005.

that makes sense...i wondered why he would be pissing on a fire.
This concert is fantastic. Trani is awesome. There is also about a minute of "On Call" that they play with just one guitar. Its amazing and then it goes straight into King of the Rodeo.
They end with Head To Toe.
ah i found it on some random site i came across. i dont have access to it right now because i am at home on christmas break from school. but i can try to find you the link.
take that back, i have it on my laptop. ill upload it and post a link in the next few days.

Haha i agree Cheescake! I don't want them to start writing soppy love songs because i think that would change their whole music style. I like the honesty and truth in the songs. And the lyrics are funny!  |
