i think milk is about a girl Caleb used to date, who happened to be lactose intolerant. thats all i know, but i agree I'd like to know esp. what the songs from YAYM are about.  |

Slow Night So Long is about Jared's ex-girlfriend. Caleb really liked her, but she thought Caleb was a dickhead. It's about the love/hate relationship they had.
Razz is about Jared pissing Caleb off during tours.
I heard Four Kicks was about their dad's youth, ... but I'm not sure on this one.
That's all I know.

i remember reading an interview with caleb a couple of years ago about aha which i have dug out and razz is about jared, caleb says he performs 'sweet mutilations of the soul' on his sexual conquests! holy roller is about a preacher and his liking for the ladies ( mr. followill? ) california waiting apparently about burning in hell for a life of shagging! my girlfriend has also told me that taper is supposedly about kate moss!

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that holy roller was about his mom, but not his dad. But I can't even remember where I read it, so it could be misinformation.

Yep, and from what I've read, Caleb saw a young girl working at the brothel they visited and thought she was beautiful and felt sorry for her and wanted to know what events in her life made her work there. Though, he didn't 'pick her', he picked an ugly girl because 'he knew how she got there'. |
