BOTT top 50 uk album

I have just returned from buying my copy of this months Q magazine and have discovered that Because of the Times is no. 7 in the top 50. For those of you that don't know Q is a big music mag in the UK.

How can they give it to Radiohead already, I though their album proper dosen't come out untill next year? Not a complaint of course, love radiohead. I agree with number one, sweet album (Canadian as well) and number two my cousin is in the white stripes, arctic monkeys are great as well but I thought that because of the times was a superior album than fav worst nightmare. Just sayin'

I was just reading an article about a band where one of the guys is cousins with Jack White. I can't remember where I read it or what the band's name was, though.

And I agree with Trash & Arizona...you can't just drop a bomb like that and leave!!!!

I noticed Stereophonics "Pull the Pin" was #50. I've been trying to get on their website to find out when it's going to be released in the US and if they're going to tour here, but it's been 1 day now and I still haven't been approved to talk on their forum!!! WTF?

I'm really starting to like this band. Anyone else?

Ya sorry, should have went into more detail. Jack White's name isn't actually Jack White, when he married Meg, he took her name, "White." His real name is John Gillis, and his family is from the same county in Nova Scotia as my mom who is also a Gillis. We are related to the same people, so my dad found out that we're cousins. I've never met him though, did see them play this summer, great show, they had a bunch of random shows all over the city on the same day. They even launched the "Noon-Day Cannon" On stage he said, "Hello Halifax Nova Scotia, we've come home!" There will be a dvd out soon. Hope that clears things up a bit.

Wow, are you officially confirming the Jack and Meg White are actually not siblings but former husband and wife!!! You sould sell your story! I totally take that back and duck the smites - no-one should sell stories!!!

I used to love the Phonics went to see em live in Morfa Stadium, Swansea (glamorous,eh?) a few years ago and they were AMAZING live - Kelly's voice is brilliant

they're great! the middle albums especially are amazing.saw them at the RDS last week and agreed, Kellys voice is maybe tomorrow live *reminisces*
