Ok,
I have the exact same bass as jared and know how to play the majority of the song. but the bit he does at 2:16 (album) is fucking hard to do, all the bass tabs out there are WRONG and I've tried to watch Jared do it but it's impossible!! can anyone put up a good tab or can anyone do it?

just the quick little 10-10-10-10?  thats the only part i heard that was remotely tough. if that is, you strum once down, once up, the twice down. if im missing something or completely wrong, let me know. |

nope that's all definatly wrong... i know the first part goes like this:

I know that because i have carefully observed jared. but it's the part after that where he makes it sound like it pings if you get what i mean?? i know for a fact it's nowhere near 10 as again i've watched, i just cant make it out. it's more near 5/6.

just to make sure, there are different ways to play exact the same notes  it's a guitar and on the fingerboard the notes repeat on other strings...sorry, for my english i play a lot of kol songs, and though it sounds exactly like what matts playing we're not playing the same strings and the same frets...so...just wanted to say. keep rockin though |

The only charmer basstabe I've been able to find doesn't sound completly right but it doesn't sound completly wrong either.
The start/verse is something like this:
