wow, very cool to hear that! Thanks for sharing, Karma soon. I wonder what the rest of the song sounded like back then. I hope they someday release an album of just b-sides and alternate versions of their songs. I bet they'd be good. I do LOVE the alternate versions of Dusty, Molly's Chambers, and California Waiting--probably a bit more than the album versions

Good to know, but WOW, so the album was just sitting on the shelf for a year?!? That shit would've driven me mad had it been my baby. There must have been some tweaking at some point, though. |

They played that here on the radio here early this year during triple j's impossible festival line-up or something  was disappointed then, and am dissapointed now, that it wasn't the full song... |

wowzers, I actually really like this version, I've always liked the twangy guitar they had in the earlier albums. If they'd kept it like this I would have liked the song a whole lot more I think.

thx for karma  and no problem.......... few months ago kings were in a german music magazin and talked about their album because of the times and they say theres a family meet every year and they show the album their family first and they like it they said this was one year before their release  sorry worst english in the whole forum  |

Taking nothing from the BOTT version, I really wouldn't have minded the song starting out without the synths. I think the guitar is more Kings of Leon sounding.
