the first kings songs i heard were taper and soft, and i managed to convince myself that caleb must have a child... I thought it was "you let your pregnant nipples show", and more wierdly, thought that 'keep like her daughter and a runaway' was "picked up my daughter and I ran away"

Ok, so every lyrics site on the web has the lyrics to Beneath The Surface as "Kid you not, your kiss sure killed me...The cold of my barrel..."
But I'm convinced it's "Kid you not, you kiss you'll kill me...the cold of my burrow..."
Am I way off?

I thought i heard him say "my cocoa sailor heart" in Black Thumbnail too lol!! But i kinda guessed he wouldnt be saying that.
And i cant believe ive been listening to Taper Jean Girl all day without realising it says "cunts" until i read this thread lol!

for the longest time i thought the chorus to soft was:

the lyrics frieghtened and excited me all at the same time!
and, instead of "good times to roll on" i thought it was "GO TALK TO FRODO!, GO TALK TO FRODO!".
seriously.. listen to the song and you hear it clearly!
