I totally get your point groupie. I hope it is 'seem' though. Purely because I kind of understand where caleb's coming from (i think...). I can imagine him walking into a club (if he wasn't famous) and everyone (especially the guys) looking at him, judging him on appearance, the long hair(well not long at the moment but hopefully it will be soon.), the skinny jeans, thats what i hope he's talking about. Cause sometimes I think I can relate to him a lil bit. when I go into clubs and have the skinnyish jeans, (my "on call" boots lol), because they're like the ones in the video, and my hair is starting to get quite long now. and sometimes the 'Lads' me and my mates call them, you know with really short hair or short spikey hair gelled up will make a comment to one of my friends like get a hair cut or whatever. It always reminds me of caleb, he has the long air and stuff, he's quite a quiet kind of guy and ultimately he knows he's better than these people. anyway yeah I love that lyric "girls are gonna love the way I toss my hair, guys are gonna hate the way I seem" but i get your point aswell...and I also understand that I took advantage of using brackets to add additional information that was not necessary during the course of this post ROFL . u know what? u deserve some karma for making me giggle. because after i posted my post, i thought "actualllyyyy... caleb may come off a little bit odd to people". everyoneee i know takes the piss about the fact that i rate kol and those types of men. i mean i know i rate him and would do anything to see him again in the flesh (he is outrageously good looking lol), however, my girlfriends think he is gross!! a sin, i know! they hate it even more, the fact that im more in love with his brother nathan who looks like a hippie. point is, i now see how "seem" is also very relevant to caleb. and although "sing" suits too (coz he does sing in a very unique way, that boys might think is "gay" or whatever), seem is good - consistent with the reactions he probably gets haha

^ ahaha karma.
For some reason when I first bought BOTT, I thought Fans went like this-
You aint a slag but you got the best play in the room. You can't play with my ding.
Annnd 'the runner'
Burning a bread roll. A bread roll from here to mane.
I also thought 'she comes from nothing' was 'she comes from London'.

I showed my friend Trani at T in the Park 2007 and she thought Caleb sang "Dance on the cow" rather than "God's on call" (or as many sources say "Comes home on call")
I still don't know what he says myself because lyrics around the internet are too unreliable and the lack of lyrics in the booklet is upsetting!

Oh I forgot to mention
When I first heard 'Arizona', I thought the line 'and she waves. Thinking that its sexy' went like this: 'And she waves. The internet is sexy'

The internet is sexy' well technically that is true if we are talking about drooling over KOL on the net! LOl I had a few that were completely wrong on Spiral Staircase i thought he sang 'greasy haircut your my chinese girl, cant get your belly walking on my kirb' ?? dont ask lol On the runner i thought he sang 'she's got a tattoo in the shape of me' On Holly Roller Novicaine i thought he sang 'girl's gonna get us back' I love it when you watch concert footage and it pans over the crowd and theres always one who is thinking he knows the words but is just mouthing a whole load of twaddle! LOL

my version is "my coco said"
hahaha, it sounds like it and I still sing it like that when I'm in the mood haha
Whenever I want to learn the lyrics to one of their songs I would check it out on the album booklet thingys but never bothered with BT haha.

I used to think that instead of "she's at my party" it was "suck my body", which I thought was quite a request

ok, its not funny, but first time i heard Day Old Blues (i didn't know the name of the song at the time), i thought Caleb was singing 'they all overlook' instead of day old blues. WTF?!? lol.
as in:
"they all they all they all, they all they all they all, they all they all they over-loooooook"
my friend refuses to let me live it down. but i maintain that it can sound like it darn it! lol

It's rather disturbing, but back when ASH came out I had a friend who, like me, loves "King of the Rodeo" more than anything...
But she got the lyrics so wrong, she thought they were saying: "Good cock to roll on..." instead of "Good time to roll on"
Since, I have a little trouble every so often listening to that song without thinking of her interpretation...
