There are so many versions of lyrics on the Internet. I always hear sth different and none of lyrics I've read is that what I hear.... |

pretty sure he sings "go (and) let it out" but somebody correct me if I'm wrong in live versions of 'use somebody' - that's ok but in track version - i still dont know what is the line...... cant hear 'go' but sth like " I'm " rather.... LOL. |

^^^ I just checked and on the album I don't really hear "go" either, sounds more like "oh".. maybe Jared is the only one who will ever know, haha.

^^^ I just checked and on the album I don't really hear "go" either, sounds more like "oh".. maybe Jared is the only one who will ever know, haha. i always sing "oh lady, oh lady, oh lady..." ^^ this thread is hilarioussss!! got me laughing so hard. i can relate to a lot of the misheard lyrics. and i didn't realize until now that caleb isn't singing "my darling you look ugly" in holy roller novocaine, he's actually singing pretty much the opposite, lol! i've probably misheard more than i'll ever know, but here's a few: in arizona, i thought caleb sang "my faith's standing on the pavement testing something awful", and my interpretation was that he'd just bought some illegal street drugs and tried some, but his faith was telling him that it's wrong (deep interpretation, i know  ) in beach side, i thought caleb sang " got a nephew thinking that he's always right"
"and she wants my asshole" in mi amigo is unavoidable and makes me laugh every time, imagine if it really was "tells me i got a big old dick and she wants my asshole" HAHAHA good lord! |

I always hear 'koelkast' (fridge) instead of 'cool grass' in Spiral Staircase, I think it is.
And my brother always ruins SOF a little further by singing 'eeuwen geleden' (century's ago) instead of 'lay where you're laying.' Dutch is a silly language.

LOL i was listening to four kicks on the bus today and started laughing when i thought about this also, in the same song, "she's a lovin' on a boy from the city" sounds to me like "she's slappin' on the butt from the city", haha seriously, listen to it!! |
