Thanks! Oh that's a shame. Well it's basically reiterating what i was saying - hoping to start recording on Valentine's day, wanting to "strike while the iron's hot" etc. He says their new stuff is gonna be really passionate cause they're riding on a high at the moment then at the end the interviewer says something like "so it's gonna be like 'yay! we're number one!'?" and Caleb says "Yeah it's gonna be like a Wham! record!" I'm pretty sure that was a joke!

oh yeah i heard about that! Wham!  that would be soooo funny if they really did do it though,can you imagine everyones looking forward to a spectatclar follow up to BOTT and then we get Wham..........i think i would cry  |

Lol I don't know how I'd react to that. Probably be in a state of confusion and disbelief. I don't think it's too likely though - Jared said the next album is gonna be pretty hard-rocking. I'm looking forward to it!

yup! me too im thinking it'll sound along the lines of McFearless and My Party....i have to say i love how KOL keep changing thier sound and how thier not scared to do it.

Yeah I know. Every time their latest album comes out I'm not sure what to think at first but soon grow to love it. It's a much better policy than just reproducing the sound of their old albums (great though they are) as it'd seem like they'd run out of ideas and people would get bored. This way we know there's always something new and daring coming. I guess I'd have to say I hope the next album sounds really different again, as long as you can still hear their roots deep down in the songs.

Well it's still going to be a pretty long time, but as you said, it's ok for them to take their time to make it fantastic. Whenever I get a craving for something new from KoL I just go back and listen to all their old/current stuff reaaally closely and see if I can hear anything I hadn't noticed before. It's almost like hearing something new...
