I held off from listening to it until it was actually released - you know, just in case it was all just a joke. I'm starting to wish I hadn't just listened to it now. What were they thinking?
*goes to listen to the proper version to wash it from his memory*

who remixed it? does anyone know? My Party was remixed by "Kenna" and "Chad Hugo" Don't know about the others. Apparently the whole album WAS done but it wasn't very good so it never really got made.

Yeah all the B-sides that they've made themselves have been great. I don't know why they decided to try something like this with the Charmer single but I hope it never happens again. I feel like we've missed out on something.

Amen to that. I've been purposely avoiding any KoL remixes/covers up to now (eg I never heard that razorlight cover of Milk). The only reason I listened to this one is that it's kinda "official". They have been making some new songs during soundchecks, according to some interview, but maybe they're saving them all for the next album. Oh well.

Really?! i didn't know that, well i say keep 'em for the new album coz the more sooner they make new songs the sooner a new album comes out. However having said that i know their label won't put out another album for a long while same i don't wanna hear Razorlights cover either it just makes me sad when people muck it up!

I'm not so sure they won't put out the next record for a while. The guys said they were hoping to start recording around February and seeing as there's quite a buzz from BOTT, the sooner the next one comes out the better from RCA's point of view. It's like when YAYM came out - they released Aha-Shake pretty quickly afterwards because they knew it made some waves (at least here in the UK).

wow! i like how you talk..um..write coz your giving me hope!
id love it if KOL came out with another album soon, but id wouldn't complain if it took ages coz the wait for BOTT was looong (well for me anyways) but the outcome was fantastic!

Well that's true. I suppose with KoL it's always worth the wait but ASH was an amazing album too and that didnt take very long. You may like to check out this interview with Caleb www.xfmmanchester.co.uk/article.asp?id=464006You'll have to scroll down to where it says "Kings Of Leon's frontman Caleb Followill took some time out to catch up with Xfm backstage. Listen to the interview here." I can't remember which interview they said about writing songs in soundchecks in but I think it was Nathan who said it if that's any help.
