i was listening to Hey Joe earlier today by Jimi Hendrix (his cover of it, its a Billy Roberts song) and then a while ago i was listening to Joes Head and i realized that not only that they were the same story - but also that the main characters of both had the same name. is their a link between the two? anyone else noticed it?

there's a new thread about this. i myself think they're pretty similar. but if the kings did take "inspiration" from hey joe, was it a bit dumb to use the same name? or were they doing it as a sort of...tribute?

i heard them say that ever rock band has that one creepy murder song. so they decided to do one and came up with Joe's head. It is alot like Hey Joe and they most likely got the idea of the song from Hey Joe.
There's alot of threads up right now about this song. lol people must really want to know how it came about.
