What's everyone's favourite albums and why? Mine's Aha Shake Heartbreak by far because I never never get sick of it no matter how many times I listen to it from start to finish. Absolutely brilliant album.

hey shattered the frame!! i see u're from sydeny- me too!! finallllyyyyy!! more sydney siders..YAY!! u going to the sydney show?? i dont think i can really just pick ONE KOL album- thats just way tooo hard, simply coz i like listening to each one depending on my mood- which is always changing i shall give it a little more thought... Y&YM is pretty damn awesome, but then again, the all are! im veryyyy indecisive you see haha  ok im going to some wedding party thingy tonight, and as i get bored shitless, sitting alone, i will think long and hard about it! But you know what?? i could mix the best KOL album- like if i had to choose say 10-12 kol songs, from all albums, that would be the ultimateee kol album..but kol havent asked me to.. so i guess not!! lol |

thats a REALLY tough question *thinks hard* i really can't choose coz i love every album for it's own uniqueness YAYM was soooo different to anythink id ever heard before and i love that! ASH was so truthful and completely different to YAYM BOTT just genius and amazing and again COMPLETELY different to the others so......... i pick all! i know i'm greedy |

Whoa yeah awesome idea with the mix album thing I seriously hadn't thought about that. Yeah I'm going to both Sydney shows, by my lonesome to the first one too  Oh well it's all worth it. Are you going? Be interesting to see your mix album... reckon you could post it or msg it to me or however this thing works if you can be bothered? |

Has to be YAYM for me. It's why I got into Kings of Leon in the first place. It was such a breath of fresh, compared to the stuff that was in the charts at the time. The songs were just completely raw, punchy and Caleb's voice was/still is pretty amazing. But enough of me banging on.......... |

Thanks for the replies guys...seems like most people are saying YAYM or ASH.
Reckon we should start a new thread for people to create their own "perfect" KOL mix albums? I think that'd be a pretty cool one.

right now, right now my favorite is ASH. i used to skip past milk and rememo but lately i can't get enough of those two, making ASH the one i can listen to over and over and over, nonstop.
i know this will change though. i love them all!

ASH, for sure. It was the first one I bought and it carries my first KoL-memories with it, haha. And I just love every single song on it. I really like BOTT as well, but a tiny weeny bit less.
I still don't have the original cd of YAYM, only on computer, 'cause my mom's friend (she has her own record store) only ordered it for me a few weeks ago. Now it has to be shipped from America, 'cause it's almost impossible to get it over here.

So annoying. what do u mean by original YAYM?? i purchased by YAYM from JB HI FI at bondi westfield...i guess i can go into specifics seeings as ur from sydney..however, i think it was the last one...but perhaps theyve ordered more in  i dunno.. but if u mean original as in a record version for like turn tables or whatever theyre called, then i say it will probably be extremly hard to get ur hands on one of those, seeing as we live in sydney, a land far far away from the US..yea but try JB HI FI- they never fail anyone with any cd! just look harder, and u shall find! trust me.... i couldnt find it for a while, but i eventually did.. imagine i wrote all that and u wanted the record version!! haha |
