do you all feel like you can think of a KOL song for big moments throughout the day?
for example, i totally had "rememo" in my head when i was going up to mountain view to see them at the download festival...
"on a plane (for me it was a bus" off to see the city (boys) again"
and then when the bus pulled away from the station, i thought, "on our way...so it seems."
nobody else??

ive had many a "why are you so skinny and pretty for a boy?" moment.
and "this party is overrated but there aint shit else to do." which i apply to basically every social event that happens in the lovely burbs.

Talihina Sky is so dear to me. I always think about getting up and leaving LA. It's my dream to one day see the world and find out what it has to offer. I always think of that song everytime I'm driving and thinking "Damn I need to leave this place", I've lived here all my life. Just thinking about it makes me feel so claustrophobic. I'm a traveler at heart.
Also, "Hold on not my fairy tale you're trying to start" from King Of The Rodeo. The structure of the line is so Shakespearean and it's just perfect for whenever I feel like something is too good to be true or when someone is filling my head with bs.

"i'd give you the news but nothin's changed. I'd sing you a song, but they blew it away, all wrapped up in this stupid-ass game." story of my life.

This is probably a pointless post, but the Jo Whiley changing track today was 'The Bucket'. I wasn't listening to the story, cos i'm sure they're a lot of guff. But i was diggin the choice. Makes a change from Christina's cringeworthy 'Beautiful'

Their lyrics don't necessarily match my life, but when I drove home from the The Police concert two days ago, I listened to their songs on the bus. Perfect setting: a half empty bus, middle of the night, neon signs flashing by, tired as hell. And then Milk came on my iPod. Perfect.

oooh yeah i remember when i first discovered wicker chair man. it was like an epiphany haha.
i always thought:
"Unsuspicious nobody cares for you You’re so fucked up again"
"You fool, I hate you sometimes"
"With your one night stands and your sleep all days Ooh you’re such a slut sometimes"
they can be applied to any life situation. seriously....well when you're as cynical as i am. haha.
