I'm sure this has been asked/discussed somewhere here on the site. I looked and couldn't find it though, so would someone clear something up for me? I just bought YAYM and Holy Roller Novocaine plays at the end, then there is about 4 minutes or so of silence, then Talahina Sky plays - the two songs are on the same track. Does anyone know why? And on the cover, Talahina Sky isn't even listed. Help? Thank you!

Ah, the annoying hidden track! Is it just me or is that kind of thing really frustrating?! I generally always know if there's going to be a hidden track because it's listed somewhere before I get round to listening to an album and then I have to skip through a load of silence in my impatience to hear it!

it is annoying. i never even knew it was there til i came here  but i never listen to it anyway because the silence frustrates me and i don't think it's that great. |

luckily its at the END of the Y&YM cd... i really like the song.. i wish it was longer- its so relaxing... but anyway, yea... i havent come across an album where there is a hidden track in the middle of the album... u know how u have to wait like 3 minutes or something to hear talahnia sky?? (or just fast forward like i do  )...well imagine a cd where the hidden track was at the end of a song in the middle.. how annoying!! now that would shit me..having to get up and press 'next' so i can hear the next song!! i realllyyy wish that the end of slow night, so long was a real song... i loves it!! and i also LOVE the cowboy verison from king of the rodeo clip...all my girlfriends (Who dislike KOL, think their msuic is weird!) know the lyrics to it.. i think its hilarious... it must bug the shit out of them how much i sing it! (and line dance to it during class lol)  |

I LOVE this song, but I also like the speeded up version as well, but there's just something about the YAYM version that I love. Mainly just because it is completely stripped down with just the sound of Caleb's voice. It's just so emotional and coming from a small town myself, I can really relate to the emotions that this song conveys, if that makes any sense...  Who knows, Sorry, I've just recently came back home for a couple weeks for the KOL show and I've just been so happy to be back home...  |

I know EXACTLY how you feel! Being in the city has driven me crazy so I finally made time to race back home to little old charleston this past weekend after being gone for 4 months. When I opened the door I started bawling my eyes out because I hadn't seen my mom in so long, and I still haven't seen my dad, he was on a business trip  |

Thanks for clearing that up for me - but - um, hello? Seems kinda stupid to have good music on your CD and not let people know it - I would have never known that Talahina Sky existed had I not forgotten that my cd was playing in my car and it just started out of the blue. I love that song!!!!!!!!!

I love that song!!!!!!!!! actually i agree!! if it werent for my lazy arse not being bothered to get up nd turn off the cd player, i never would have realised that there was a song 3 minutes later.. if i was bothered, i would get up and turn off my cd player, and never let it run to discover such a lovely song... oh it kills me to thing i might never have discovered it!! eek!! |

ooh im so very proud of myself, i just made a copy of the holy roller novocaine track on itunes and edited the first one so it ends after 4 mins and edited the second so it starts playing after like 8 mins...gosh im telling u, Genius was written about me

talihina sky is one of the most beautiful song about living in a small town. has anyone heards the plain white t's "the great escape." it's kinda about the same thing but it's so cheesy...i can't stand it!
