If I'm not mistaken, whomever wrote up the lyrics to Arizona spelled "plum" wrong. You're "plumb" crazy, not "plum" crazy. As per Merriam-Webster.com - chiefly dialect : to a complete degree : ABSOLUTELY <`you're plumb crazy', she remarked, with easy candor -- Harper's Weekly> Am I plumb crazy or is this the correct way to spell it? It's been bugging me so I thought someone could shed some light on this minor little upset! Thanks!

hmm... me thinks you're correct. I would assume that whomever typed out the lyric sheet took the spelling from what was provided. Artistic license and all.. you know..

Yeah, I saw that too and wanted to point it out, but didn't feel like being called out for being pedantic.
So long as no one says the 'b'. I guess it only matters to a few of us nitpicky, spelling nazis. Yup.

It is correct as "plumb" because it isn't supposed to be a reference to the fleshy fruit defined as a "plum". It means a type of measurement to some degree, its in my dictionary on my computer.

I really am a spelling nazi - I noticed this morning when I was listening to Slow Night, So Long that he "went and plum forgot it" - yikes!

That one kills me too. Bad squid! Bad squid! Haha. Please do not slap the squid! Look though, I'm using capitals now! I actually should start doing that because school starts back up in exactly 2 weeks and BOY am I thrilled!! I think it is so adorable when Caleb says plumb. It makes me want to live in Tennessee in the 1850s wearing a striped red shirt and play the banjo. I also just figured out that in McFearless when he says "I've got the reigns and courage i was made of." it should be "reins" because reign means to "excercise sovereign power."

Ooh good one squid - does anyone else have any typos on song lyrics out there? I am a grammar freak! Yeah there is a HUGE typo in "Where Nobody Knows" in the last sentence of the last chorus it says "Jessica" whereas the correct spelling should be; "Sephora". That one always gets my piss boiling!
