Halloa! this may be a stupid and/or obvious question, but i've been wondering for a quite while why nacho's name is nacho! cus as we know his real name is christopher...so if any of you folks know and would like to share, that would be fab.  |

In Argentina the guys that are called Ignacio are nicknamed Nacho.

I always though it was because he preferred tortilla chips with melted cheese to any other snack. It seems I was wrong, it's actually because he is a member of the National Association of Condo Hotel Owners!

The truth is he's a hispanic immigrant who got lucky jumping the border, but no so much soon after. On his trek into the United States he bumped into the Followill's while in the desert. They made him their bitch.
He didn't speak "no eengleesh" so they started calling him Nacho because they grew tired of calling him "hombre."
Since he followed the Followill's everywhere, was responsible for a big chunk of their responibilities, and pretty much served them on hand and foot they decided to adopt him. Soon they taught him the ways of the American man and the English language.
Nachito progressed from being housemaid to roadie. But, every now and then he still goes out to buy a hotdog for the boys. He also can't resist hanging out in the back of trucks. Nacho, Nacho, rah rah rah!

I went to the show last night, and I was surprised at how many times Nacho actually comes on stage during the show. Instrument changes, tuning, etc. He was up there a lot.
I'm curious about one thing though. Before the start of the show, and after tuning all the guitars, Nacho sprayed them with something. I've never seen that before. WTF was it? Anyone know?

Anyone know? i know what that spray stuff is! apparently you put it on guitar necks and whatnot so that they are more slippery and don't get gunky and gross when you play them. i love when he comes onstage. he's so precious! p.s. sorry everyone that i accidentally put this thread under the music section! |

Personally I think Nacho is the hardest working member of the band (yes he should be known as the fifth king) and not just for KOL, the support acts too. He's a wee star (he is really tiny), and he's got great hair. God I think the Nacho obsession has officially started!  |

that stuff he sprayed on their guitar necks is called finger ease... its the best invention in music!!! haha you just spray it on your neck of your guitar and your hand can slide all over with no buzz!!
