Hey, you all need to download the song Psycho by a band called The Sonics...the screaming on this song is EXACTLY the same as Caleb's in Charmer...maybe even in the same tune. Not saying the King's stole anything, just saying it is creepy how similar it sounds. Subtopic: Which song do you think the Kings would kick ass covering. My submission: Dragon Attack by Queen. Discuss...

LoL I know, you mean the "Woooow!" part, right? But I can't find other similarity in the songs...

I was going to respond, but I just found the similarities so minimal that I didn't find it important enough to note.
There's also a long thread about cover songs the Kings should do if you could unearth it. The only thing I find similar about the sonics and the kings is the whole garage-rock sound, but that's it.
Otherwise, it's obsolete.

I was going to reply to this post but then this picture above me made me realize how my life doesn't resemble anything near that.....tragic!

hahaha I finally managed to listen the song... Well sorry nateskickdrum but I guess there's nothing related to Caleb's screams those are just screams and that song is pretty strange

It's not strange at all. I love the Sonics. I even posted them up as a band that sounds "similar" to the Kings of Leon because of the whole raw, garage sound they've got going on.
But, the screams are just screams. The kind of screams Screamin' Jay Hawkins would have done. The same kind John Fogerty may have. I could go on, but listening to Psycho does not make Charmer come to mind.

Talking about Psycho... get Psycho Killer by Talking Heads. Oh god, I went mental to that song at one of our station's parties that featured a Talking Head's cover band. Yeah, we're awesome like that.
