I think that is Caleb, but they have been known to have Nathan and Jared to backing at time, I think. Hmm..

I always thought it was the other three doing all the other vocals...?
Do they have that song live on the MSN Control Room video? Maybe that will give you an answer...

The "ohhhh" in "My Party" I think from what I hear that's Caleb. But on other songs the rest of the guys seem to do the backing vocals. And on the first records it said (at least here in Argentina) Nathan Followill "Drums and Backing Vocals", so there you go!

its caleb.. fosho on those aol sessions he has two mikes one which has normal sounda nd the other ahs that fuzzy sound and he just moves his head to eahc microphone... it owuld be cool though if they had soem back up singers like those ones oyu see in Motown clicking their fingers to every beat

its a multi-tracked Caleb - but they'd probly use backing singers if they played it live

What amazes me most is how his voice splits. Not in the mics, but naturally.
He's pretty much singing overtones. Whether he does that intentionally or not, it's amazing.

And, by the way, they totally use three overweight divalicious women to sing that part.
They have dance moves choreographed too, although they're limited to swaying and side-to-side stepping.

I'm thinking that it's either his vocal chords stretching to trying to reach for the note and thereby splitting.
Or he's actually trained himself in the art of overtone singing . . .WHICH WOULD BE AWESOME.
